BITS pilani distance education MS fee structure
BITS Pilani Department of Management happens to be one of the oldest management departments operating in any of the Indian universities.
Since its establishment in 1971, It has seen many transformations. For decades, it offered integrated first degree MMS program which later got changed to full fledged 2 years MBA course.
Now coming to the current format of the course i.e MBA from BITS Pilani:
It is pacing up tremendously. Since 2013, the intake has been exclusively through CAT and GMAT unlike for the earlier batches that wrote BITSAT (Pretty like JMET was there for MBA at IITs prior to the inclusion of admissions through CAT). This took the visibility to entirely a next level.
The BITS Pilani ecosystem is very dynamic to make any MBA program prosper. The number of startups that have been coming from Pilani, the Case based teaching methodology, the freedom of no compulsory attendance, small batch size/peer learning, healthy mix of work experience people and freshers, good ROI on fees, bench marking with BE students on certain fronts, student clubs & associations, rewarding campus life and infrastructure, Practice station for 6 months, gradually rising number of quality recruiters and salary figures make the program worth opting for anyone who critically evaluates any B-School before making a final choice.
If I typically talk about placements which usually is the prime concern for joiners, let me tell you that with every successive MBA batch graduating from BITS, the success stories are increasing!
Like every B-school, at BITS Pilani we have a separate Placement Committee for MBA that toils hard to beat past placement statistics each year. Also, that central placement unit of the university is the supervisory body for MBA placements too and the coordination between the two is healthy.
